Past President Kevin Mitchell phoned to advise that Norm had passed away on 25/10/2022. Speaking to Pat Gaskin widow of Norm she said that he had been suffering ill health for the past 5 years but about of “long” Covid had hospitalised Norm for 7-8 weeks and shortly after going home he had to return to hospital where he passed away. Pat (nee Lancaster) ex-ANZ said she met Norm at Collingwood branch and they enjoyed life with the bank highlighting their time in Rutherglen when their young family were experiencing the best of country life. Norm retired in 1998 after 37 years with the Bank and they settled in the Bendigo area. They particularly enjoyed travelling during their retirement.
